Kcpe results 2023 are finally out. The results were released by cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu. The outgoing 8-4-4 comes to an end following the release of 2023 exams. It now paves way for the new cbc curriculum which was developed to help curb the rate of unemployment among many graduates.
This exam marks the last lot of students who sat for their exams after the curriculum being in existence for 39 years.
The 8-4-4 has been termed as the best curriculum but parents have been advised to embrace the new one despite the few challenges. A total of 1.4 million pupils sat for this year’s exam which is also 200,000 less than the previous records.
In order to access the result, parents, guardians and candidates are advised to check their results through the official KNEC council website, SMS portal, county education offices or respective schools.
In order to access the results through SMS, send an SMS with the index number of the candidate to the code 40054. Please note that an sms charge of kes 25 will be applied for every sms sent. This service is available on all mobile networks.
Also note that due to high request that are being made in order to access kcpe results 2023, parents have experienced delays of results.
